New Owners Kelley and John Tarr Purchased the Chestnut Farm in February of 2024 They are very excited to continue growing and nurturing the Chestnut Trees, located just outside of Newington, Georgia. We expect Nuts to be Available by Mid September of 2024. We will be launching our new Website soon. Check back for details We have around 500 Dunstan Chestnut trees. The Dunstan was developed by Robert Dunstan by crossing a blight free American chestnut with several Chinese varieties. The result is a nice mostly Chinese chestnut that is easy to peel. In 2019 we harvested 300 pounds of chestnuts and in 2020 we harvested over 1200 lb!  In 2021 we were hit by a late frost and only had 300 pounds to sell.  So since we cannot control the weather, when you order we will fill the orders first come first serve and refund any order we cannot fill giving you the option to buy another size first.
