Just roasted and peeled some of this year’s small chestnuts and they were so sweet and delicious! Easy to peel, too! They are an economical way to get a lot of nuts.

Harvesting with a little help from my students.

Cleaned around trees for two hours the organic way. Some trees were dropping nuts already! My arms didn’t stop shaking for an hour after I finished. 😜
